March 26, 2013 - Dolphin gets honored with a Gini Award!

Kansas City, MO, March 2013 — Dolphin was a proud recipient of the prestigious Gini Award, bestowed last Friday by Smiles Change Lives (SCL) at the 3rd Annual Gini Award ceremony in Kansas City, Missouri. Dolphin was one of three organizations and five individuals to receive the Gini Award, which is given in recognition of their volunteerism, service, and contribution to children’s oral health.

“The Gini Awards are a celebration of SCL superheroes who make our work more accessible to more children and families nationwide,” says Gracie Harrison, SCL Volunteer and Donor Care Coordinator. The Awards are named after the founder of SCL, Mrs. Virginia Brown, or “Gini” as her friends call her. “Congratulations, and thank you for all you do. You are an inspiration to all of us, and the 2,000 plus children who have benefitted in some part by your work and dedication to Smiles Change Lives.”
